3/71 Wall and Gazebo at Holme Pierrepont Hall
G.V. II*
Wall and gazebo. Early Cl7, with some later patching and alterations. Red brick with moulded ashlar coping. The wall extends from west to east for about 125 metres, turns at a right angle and extends southwards for about 75 metres terminating in a single red brick pier with ashlar coping and urn finial. The re- entrant angle has a small gazebo with hipped slate roof and arched entrance. The east/west wall has a domestic doorway with ashlar surround, further left is a later doorway. The north/south wall is broken by a gateway.
