Details
LEWANNICK TREVADLOCK SX 27 NE 4/69 Trevadlock Farmhouse and attached cartshed GV II Farmhouse and attached cart shed. Circa late C18. Stone rubble with ashlar stone on front elevation and slate hung on left hand side. Slate roof with gable ends. Slate hung stone rubble end stacks and stone rubble rear lateral stack. Plan: Double depth plan. Entrance near centre probably leading into cross passage with stair to rear. Principal rooms on front heated by end stacks with dairy to rear right and kitchen to rear left heated by rear lateral stack. C20 outshut extension to rear. Attached on right hand end a circa early C19 cartshed, the right hand bay converted into a garage in the C20. Exterior: 2 storeys. Almost symmetrical 3-window front with the openings disposed slightly to the right. Dressed stone arches to ground floor openings, all windows with granite cills. Ground floor with C19 panelled door with slate hood flanked by two circa late C19 or early C20 2-light casements. First floor with two circa C19 3- light casements flanking a similar C19 2-light casement. Attached on right hand end a single storey open fronted cartshed of stone rubble and slate roof with gable ends. Granite piers and C20 garage doors to right hand bay. Interior: Not inspected.
