Farmhouse. Circa early to mid C17. Stone rubble, rendered. Rag slate roof with
gable ends. Rendered stone rubble end stack on left and rendered end stack on right.
Plan: Two room and cross or through passage plan, heated by end stacks. A C19 stair
has been inserted in the passage. Extended to rear in C19 and C20.
Exterior: Two storeys. Almost symmetrical 3-window front. C20 porch with glazed
door and lean-to roof flanked by two C20 3-light casements. First floor with three
probably C19 2-light casements.
Interior: Heavy chamfered crossbeams with straight cut stops and unmoulded morticed
floor-joists. C20 grates to fireplaces. Circa mid to late C17 roof, the principals
halved, lap-jointed and pegged at apices and collars, halved, lap-jointed and pegged
onto face of principals.
