Details

LYDNEY CHURCH ROAD SO 60 SW (east side) 7/64 Monument to THOMAS BUCK in the churchyard c5m south of the tower of the church of St Mary II Chest tomb. 1677. Sandstone. Large flat inscribed slab with inscription in two columns, very thick with chamfered edge, plain panels, chamfered base. Earliest legible inscription to Thomas Buck of Ailberton. A fine example of the memorial with inscribed ledger slab.
