LYDNEY CHURCH ROAD SO 60 SW (east side) 7/71 Monument to RICHARD GILL in the churchyard c3m south of the south-east corner of the south aisle to the church of St Mary - II Chest tomb. Late C17. Sandstone. Thick, flat inscribed top with cyma mould edge, sunk panels with egg and dart moulding, and central rosettes east and west, base sunk at time of survey, September 1983, and the end panels parting from those to north and south. On south panel, inscription to RICHARD GILL, 1696, and GILL also on ledger slab.
