II

Farmhouse and attached barn. Late C18, with barn added 1840.
Finely coursed gritstone with ashlar dressings. Stone slate roofs
with coped gables and kneelers, plus a single gable stack.
Quoins. Farmhouse, 2 storey main front has off-centre C19
doorway, with to the left an original doorway with flush ashlar
surround and beyond an original 2 light mullion window, both now
blocked. To the right a blocked C19 window and beyond an original
doorway with flush ashlar surround, also blocked. Above 2
original, 3 light mullion windows. North-east front has 2 similar
2 light mullion windows on the upper floor. Small single storey
addition to the south-west forms a link to the attached barn.
Barn dated 1840. Coursed rubble, with stone slate roof and coped
gables. Central, segment headed cart entrance with dated
keystone. To the left a small doorway, in a flush ashlar
surround. Over the arch, a small window with small surround.
