WEST STREET TQ 74 NW HUNTON (South-east Side) 4/127 Former Stables about 50 metres north-north- east of Hunton Court and Paved Yard adjoining to south GV II Stables, with paved forecourt. Stables: Late C18. Chequered red and grey brick. Plain tile roof. Double depth. 2-storeys, on chamfered brick plinth. Dentilled brick eaves cornice. Hipped roof. Regular 5-window front of four 2-light leaded casements with splayed rubbed brick voussoirs, and central semi-circular recess, also with rubbed brick voussoirs. Diocletian window to left end of ground floor. Recessed panelled door under second window from left, with Diocletian window over. Central blocked doorway infilled with Diocletian window. 2 garage doors to right end. Central first-floor loading door and 2 Diocletian windows to right gable end. Rear door with Diocletian light. Interior not inspected. Yard: Shared with coachhouse (q.v.). Paved with setts, with 4 shallow drains converging on centre. Extends about 20 metres north-south and slightly further east-west.
