Includes The Bungalow,Manless Terrace.Miner's hospital,now two houses,1883. Rendered brick.Mid C20 interlocking clay tiles to left and rear wings;late C20 concrete tiles to right.Two storeys,three bays to entrance front(south-east).Gabled centre bay projects and has six-panelled door and overlight.Segment-headed sash windows with painted wedge lintels and battered sills.Similar windows in returns of centre bay.Ironstone tablet in tympanum of centre-bay gable,inscribed:"Miners Accident Hospital 1883".Carved barge boards to all gables;end stacks with paired external flues to gable ends.Single-storey rear wings have similar windows and tall stack.Mid C20 timber and plastic porch to entrance front is not of interest.Included for historic interest as a rare survival of an industrial-welfare planned building.
