HIGH BANKS TQ 7552 LOOSE (North Side) 6/183 Nos. 1-5 (inclusive) Randall's Row GV II
House row. Late C18. Ground floor red brick in Flemish bond, first floor weatherboarded. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and attic on graduated stone plinth. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. Painted metal rainwater pipe between each cottage. Half-hipped roof. 3 brick stacks in front slope of roof; one to right gable end to No. 1, and one between each remaining pair of cottages. 5 small hipped dormers with moulded cornices. and 2-light casements. Regular 5-window front of 2-light wooden casements set above ground-floor windows. Sixth, added, casement to No. 5. Similar ground-floor casements with segmental heads. Ribbed doors with segmental heads; those to Nos 1 and 2 and to Nos. 3 and 4 in pairs, that to No. 5 to left end. Interior not inspected.
