Details
OLD LOOSE HILL TQ 7552 LOOSE (East Side) 6/193 The Limes 23.5.67 GV II House. Late C16, with C18 and later alterations. Timber-framed. Ground floor partly painted brick, partly rendered. First floor rendered. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and garret on rendered plinth. Roof half-hipped to left. Small brick stack in front slope of roof to left end. Projecting gable end stack to right. Regular 3-window front of two 3-light casements and central 2-light casement. Short late C18 rear return wing to left, also rendered, with gambrel roof; multiple brick gable-end stack on slightly projecting stone base, one small eaves dormer and one 16-pane first-floor sash. Panelled door towards junction of main range and wing. Said to have datestone of 1582. Interior not inspected.
