Farmhouse and barn, now 2 houses, mid C17, with mid C19 rear extension at No.
45 and mid/late C19 rear extension at No. 47. Dressed sandstone. Welsh slate
roof with stone gable copings, and moulded kneelers to left end. Stone ridge
stack and rebuilt brick end stacks. Late C20 concrete tiles to rear extension
of No. 45; clay pantiles to extension of No. 47. 2 storeys; originally 2
windows to left and barn to right. Traces of original window surrounds,
altered to hold renewed sash windows with glazing bars. Mid C19 off-centre
doorway with 4- panelled door between the bays. Original doorway to right (No.
47), between barn and house, has double lintel, quoin surround and 4-panelled
door. Further right a canted bay window with sashes and cornice. 2 sash
windows with glazing bars on first floor. Moulded eaves cornice. Chamfered
garret light, in left return, has one chamfered mullion; partly blocked (left)
and holding sash. Rear of No. 45 has chamfered light to ground floor and
altered first-floor 3-light chamfered mullioned window holding 2 fixed lights
and sash. Single-storey rear extension to No. 45; 2-storey rear extension to
No. 47. No. 45 retains original beamed ceilings on ground floor.
