GV II
Village school, now detached cottage. Late C19, C20 extensions. Rubble stone, ornamental tiled roof with ridge tiles. Single storey, 2-windows. Central gabled porch has elliptical-arched opening and inner planked door with ornamental hinges, tablet on porch gable: TEFFONT MANOR SCHOOL, either side of porch is tall 4- light mullioned window with elliptical-arched lights. Wavy barge- boards. Left return has C20 glazed door and casement. Right return has 4-light mullioned window with arched lights. C20 rear extensions in rubble stone, one with pitched roof and one with flat roof. Interior divided to provide living accommodation. School provided by Teffont Manor (q.v.) probably paid for by de Salis family who also endowed the almshouses (q.v.).
