ROLLRIGHT SOUTH END SP3231-3331 Great Rollright 12/142 The House at Pooh Corner 25/11/86 (Formerly listed as Pooh Corner, South End)

GV II

House, probably formerly several dwellings. Late C17/early C18. Limestone rubble with wooden lintels and some ashlar dressings; thatch roof with rubble stacks. 4-unit plan with end outshut and added bay. One storey plus attic. Irregular front, of several builds, has five 3-light casements at ground floor, including the outshut bay to left, but has a 2-light casement in an added bay to right; the entrance, in a C20 stone porch, is between bays 4 and 5, and there are 2-light half dormers in raised sections of walling above bays 2, 3, 4 and 6. Ground-floor window in bay 2 is stone-mullioned with a label; other ground-floor windows have renewed casements. Roof is hipped to left and has end stacks plus a central ridge stack. Interior not inspected.
