KEEVIL MAIN STREET ST 95 NW (north side) 7/129 Front boundary wall with gateway and gate piers at Keevil Manor 11.9.68 GV I
Boundary wall running from west entrance with gate piers to opposite the gate piers at Blagden House (q.v.). Probably c1600. Random rubble stone. Approximately 2 metres high with stepped pitched coping carried up over Tudor-arched gateway opposite south porch of Keevil Manor, ledged and studded door with ornamental strap hinges. Well-finished pitched coping gives way to rougher pitched coping to left of archway, wall continues westwards to chamfered rusticated gate piers with moulded cappings and ball finials, carved volutes on top of coping against piers.
