2. C18. Large block of 2 houses. 2 storeys. 5 windows in all, with wide spaces between them. 4 dormers. Stone string course. Wooden eaves cornice. Tiled roof. The front of the ground floor of No 9 has been cut away to form an arcade in front of the shop front and the upper storey now overhangs on wooden pillars. Flat hood to the doorway of No 10, supported on brackets. 8-panelled moulded door. The east and west ends of the block have 3 gables each and are hung with tiles.

Nos 6,7,7A & Nos 9 to 17 (consec), Gate piers, The Old Coach House, Gazebo in garden of No 11 and Rye Working Men's Conservative Club form a group.
