DUNNERDALE AND SEATHWAITE SD 29 SW 6/75 Potash Kiln at SD 235 924 II

Potash kiln. Probably C18. Stone rubble. Wide shallow bowl in ruinous state with rectangular fire hole. Shallow bowl. A rare example of a type of kiln which went out of use c1800.
