House. Reputedly 1802, incorporating part of a lesser C17 fabric. Flemish Bond brick, moulded stone cornice, rendered parapet with a coping, end brick stacks, double-span double-roman tile rood, crested ridge. Symmetrical frontage. Two storeys and attic, three bays, 16-pane sash windows, brick voussoirs. Central door opening, semi-circular head, paired three-panelled doors, fanlight with radiating glazing bars.
Interior with many early C19 features, including decorative plasterwork, staircase, doors and window shutters. The house is said to have been a non-conformist meeting-place in the C18; there remains a religious tract painted on the wall of a room on the first floor at the rear. A non-conformist grave to John Weile exists nearby (qv).
