2. Gates adjoining return front of the Castle Hotel qv. Early Cl9 cast iron. Double centre gates and single side ones. Open square section piers with cross bars and rosettes. Plain rails and dog rails with pointed arched cross bars. Small overthrows to side gates. Spikes and finials of stepped pyramid pattern.
