TF 2669 HORNCASTLE NORTH STREET (west side)
7/72 Nos. 3 and 5 (Blackwoods and The Wool Shop) G.V. II 2 shops with accommodation above. Early C19, C20. Red brick with some colourwash. Pantile roof, hipped to south, moulded wooden eaves, single ridge and hip stacks. 2 storeys with basement, 5 bay front with through passage to right with segmental head. Shop front to left with blocked basement window below, with segmental head. Doorway to left with moulded doorcase, bracketed hood, overlight and partially glazed door. Shop window to right of plate glass with continuous bracketed entablature above. Blocked basement window with segmental head, to left with C20 plate window with segmental head, above. C19 shop front to left with flanking pilasters, moulded entablature and shutters. Another shop front to left with doorway to right with moulded doorcase, overlight, bracketed hood and partially glazed door. 2 light shop window to left with flanking pilasters, entablature and shutters. 4 glazing bar sashes above with segmental heads.
