2. Generally C18 or early C19 facades to earlier buildings. All 2 storeys except No 17 which has 3 storeys. Nos 16, 17, 19, 20, 22 and 23 of painted brick on ground floor and painted tiles on the upper floor. No 24 has brick on lower ground floor and plain tiles above this with curved tiles on upper storey. Nos 18,21 and Queen's Head are rendered white. No 17 is of red brick. Nos 17 and 21 have parapets. All except No 18 and the Queen's Head have shop windows on the ground floor. Nos 19 and 20 have a C19 shop front of 3 windows in all of which the northern one has original glazing bars. No 21 has a fine early C19 shop front with round headed iron glazing bars which repeat style of the house window. No 23 has a mid C19 shop front with cast iron glazing bars.
Nos 15 to 24 (consec) form a group.
