II

House, now divided. Early C19 with later extension. Local stone rubble; Welsh slate roof between coped gable; one
original stone chimney stack remainder brick. 2 storeys with attics; 5 bays of which bay 1 is later single storey
extension. Bay 1 has 2-light small-pane casement window with segmental brick arched head, and matching doorway to
right; elsewhere 2-light small pane casement windows with architrave mouldings to frames, under exposed timber lintels
on ground floor; to bay 4 beaded ashlar surround to 6-panel door, with moulded flat store hood on simple brackets: 4
C20 flat roof dormers with 2-light casement windows in roof. Projection at rear with C18 3-light leaded casement
window, and later flanking outshuts. House predates building of the railway in 1856 which dominates it. Interior not
seen.
