Pair of cottages and adjoining malthouse. Late C18. Coursed
squared rubble and dressed stone with slate roof. 2 gable
stacks. 2 storeys. 2/2/4 bays. Single range. Single sash.
Most windows boarded over. No.27. to left, has central door
flanked by single windows. Above, 3 windows. No.29 has central
door flanked to left by a window and to right by carriage entry
with segmental head and pair of doors. Above, 2 windows. No.31
has, to left, square hatch with stone lintel, and to right, large
blocked window. To right again, garage door with wooden lintel.
Above, 4 blocked windows. West gable has, above, a square
opening. Above again, timber mullioned casement. Rear elevation
has to left, blocked opening, and to its right, door and
carriage opening. To right, lean-to addition with corrugated
iron roof, 2 doors and a casement. To right, glazing bar
casement. Above, to left, blocked opening with alighting shelf.
To right, a casement. To right again, blocked window and door.
