HOUNDSDITCH/ALDGATE 1. 5002 TQ 3381 SE 12/387 Police Public Callbox outside St. Botolph Aldgate Church. II CV

2. Police public callbox. Circa 1935 or earlier. Cast iron. Narrow rectangular post with arched head surmounted by cicular glass lens mounted in 4-columned finial. Hinged door to compartment containing telephone, with glass front (replaced). Words 'Police public call post' to panel above.
