Details
WARSOP SOOKHOLME ROAD SK 56 NE (south west side) Nettleworth Farmhouse 2/166 and adjoining stable block and boundary wall II Farmhouse. Early C19. Dressed stone with glazed pantile roof and stone slate verges. Stone plinth and lintels. 2 gable stacks. 2 storeys plus garrets. 3 bays. L-plan. Windows are mostly glazing bar sashes with flat arches. East front has central doorcase with curved brackets to hood and C19 half glazed door, flanked by single sashes. Above, 3 sashes. North front has 2 off centre doors flanked to left by 2 casements. To right, single storey addition with a casement. Above, barred casement and to right, blocked opening. Above again, a sash. West front has to left, single storey addition with coped gable. Off-centre C20 door flanked to left by a sash and to right by a casement. Above, a casement and a sash. Above again, a sash. South front has, to left, adjoining stable block, single storey, 5 bays, with a coped gable. 4 slatted casements and to right, door and C20 casement. To right again, sash flanked to left by casement and to right by blocked window. Above, 2 sashes and to right, blocked window. Above again, a sash to right. Outside, to east, adjoining dressed stone boundary wall with ramped slab coping. L-plan. 2 chamfered rusticated gate piers with concave domed caps. Approx 60 m long.
