2. Cl8. 3 storeys. Part of the building timber framed. Stuccoed ground floor with 1st floor band. Upper floors pebbledashed probably on timber frame. Steep pitch gable end slate roof. The left hand bay of this building has been demolished except for 4 centred arched beam over former passage way between No 23 and the adjoining Liberal Club St John's Court qv. 2 coupled windows to 2nd floor. Small canted Cl9 bay window with later glazing bars and 2 sashes glazing bars intact on 1st floor. Ground floor has 2 sash windows and 2 recessed doors of 6 flush panels each, the top panels glazed.

Nos 23 to 41 (consec) and the part of the National Westminster Old Bank in Market Place form a very fine group.
