Parish church and attached school. Dated 1840. Coursed stone;ashlar
dressings; stone slate roof with verge parapets bearing ball and block
pinnacles at kneelers and apex. South front: school of single bay to
west, with end stack and under continuous ridge with church of two bays.
School part of two-storey and church of single; 1-1-2 windows with
two-storey gabled entrance porch projection to left of centre, ridge set
under eaves; two 32-paned windows to church, glazing bar sashes to
school, fixed light to porch over entrance with boarded door; datestone
in apex; wooden pyramid-roofed louvred cupola on main ridge behind porch
set on moulded surbase and plinth. Small gabled 'chancel' bay window to
east end with pinnacles and tripartite east window. Erected by public
subscription at a cost of £300 (History of Longnor Church).
