Semi-detached cottage. Early C18. Square-panelled timber-framing with painted brick nogging on rubble stone plinth, Welsh slate roof with gable end brick stacks; right hand stack is addition. Two- storey, 2-window. Central ribbed door with 2-light casement to right and 3-light to left. Three-light and 2-light first floor casements. Left return wall dressed limestone. C19 parallel rear range in English garden wall bond brick. Chamfered beams to ground floor of interior. Formerly the Rose and Crown inn. (Wiltshire Buildings Record)
