HOCKLEY HEATH BRAGGS FARM LANE 1. 5108 (South Side) SP 17 NW 2/522 Granary 40 yards south west of Braggs Farmhouse II

Granary and cartshed. Late C18 with later alterations. Five red brick buttresses, shouldered to the top, down each side, with openings bricked up later with dentilled cornices to half-hipped tiled roof. Red brick steps to north leading to gabled semi-dormer. The upper Darts of the ends reaching down to the first floor are vertically weatherboarded with small single windows inserted. Interior: the building is of 5 bays with cranked principals resting on the buttresses and rising from the upper floor to carry queen post trusses.
