ASTON BY SUTTON C.P. ASTON LANE SJ 57 NE South West Side 3/35 Table tomb of Elizabeth and Samuel Okell and others in St Peter's churchyard 11 metres south of west bay of nave. GV II Table tomb, 1758, stone. Fluted antae at corners; a recessed panel at each end; 2 recessed panels divided by a pilaster on each side. The slab is inscribed "Here lieth the Body of Elizabeth Wife of Samuel Okell of Sutton who departed this Life August Ye 8th 1758 in the 25th Year of his Age. Also Samuel Okell Husband of the above who departed this Life June the 5th 1802 Aged 70 Years. Also on the south side of this Tomb Mary Okell her Daughter in Law..... Likewise the said Samuel Okell Son of the above named Samuel and Elizabeth Okell who Departed this Life December 15th 1829 Aged 60 years."
