ATHERINGTON ATHERINGTON SS 52 SE 5/22 Pair of gravestones at head and - foot of Berry grave approximately 13 metres south of south-west corner of nave of Church of St Mary GV II Pair of gravestones. 1781. Slate straight-headed, with foliated decoration to the corners. Headstone with inscription to Deborah Berry (d.1781) "in hope of a Joyful Resurrection to Eternal Life". Stone at foot of grave with verse "As you am now so once was I As I am now so shall you be My Glass's run my Grave you see Prepare for Death and follow me"
