Farmhouse
GV II
Granary. Dated 1798 on beam, but brought from elsewhere and resited
as part of farm complex built for Stephen Mills, agricultural
improver, between 1840 and 1858. Weatherboard over timber frame with
pyramidal slate roof set on staddle stones. Loft door offset to left
above main north door. Interior: retains grain bins and beam dated
1798; chamfered posts to grain bins; king-post roof. Two rows of
pigeon holes with arched entrances, now blocked.
