4/55 Stable Block to 9/3/60 Unstead Park
GV II
Stable block. 1780/90 with C19 extensions. Yellow stock brick to rear range with red brick to front; low pitched hipped slate roofs with central, square, wooden cupola under ogee lead roof and scroll weathervane on south range. Rectangular plan around central courtyard. Single storey and attic with brick dentilled eaves to north range. Large square stack to right. South front: Slight projections to ends with casement doors in flanking lights to left; casement window to right. Arched casement to either side of gable/pediment over three bay centre, with roundel in gable. Arched windows to ground floor flanking central door under fanlight. Parallel range to north connected by return range to east. House attached to east side not of special interest.
