Two houses, built as one in early or mid C16 with major alterations of C18 and C19. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and rough-cast. Plaintiled roof with C19 end chimney of red brick. No.24 has a C19 shop window with large panes. No.22 has a good entrance doorway of C18 type with moulded and eared architrave and heavy moulded cornice; recessed C20 flush door. At the left hand end of No.24 an underbuilt long-wall jetty was exposed during alterations at date of survey; massive floor joists support a moulded bressumer. Close-studwork with tension stud-bracing. Altered C16 coupled-rafter roof.
