GV II
Pair of Bowood estate cottages, early C19, ironstone with ashlar dressings and Bridgwater tile eaves roof. One and half storeys, T- plan with paired diagonal chimney stacks to ridge and rear wall of No 39. Flush quoins, unmoulded stone mullion windows. Barge boarded gable to left with upper 2-light and lower 3-light, with hoodmoulds. To right ground floor 2-light and door in lean-to porch, 2-light above in barge boarded dormer gable. West end has 2-light over 3-light, with hoodmoulds. East side has central upper 2-light in dormer gable over lean-to hipped porch with 2-light each side, both with hoodmoulds.
