House. Mid C17. Restoration and additions of c.1920. Timber framed, with painted brick infilling. Plain tile roof. 3 timber-framed bays and narrow stack bay. 2 storeys, on rendered plinth. Continuous jetty, with moulded brackets between central and left end bays, and flanking door. Two-storey painted brick pier to left end. Roof hipped to left, gabled to right. Multiple brick ridge stack to right of centre. Irregular fenestration of 4 leaded casements; one three- light to each principal bay and one single-light under stack. One three-light casement to each outer bay on ground floor. Canted bay window on painted brick base to central bay, with two-light ovolo- moulded mullion frieze windows. Panelled double doors under stack. Painted brick lean-to with applied studding, to left end. Two- storey painted brick addition to right, of two parallel ranges, with gabled plain tile roof, right gable-end stack, central three-light casement with segmental head to first floor, and rectangular ground- floor bay window. Pebbledashed two-storey rear addition to main range, stopping short of left end. Rear lean-to to left end. Interior: exposed framing. Chamfered axial beam and joists to each room on each floor. Shaped bracket under tie-beam ends in left end room on both floors, and (without beam) to rear wall of central room. Partitions with central tension-braced stud. Brick fireplaces with chamfered bressumers.
