Late C18. Large three storey building designed to look like a single mansion. Brick with stone dressings. One-three-one sash windows, the centre being crowned by an open pediment (containing a round window) supported on thin two storey pilasters with fluted caps. Rusticated quoins, dentilled cornice, band above ground floor. Central stone three columned porch up steps with balustrade over, back of porch in rusticated stone and with two round-headed doorways with radiating fanlights. Stone architraves to all windows, glazing bars to No 15, later glazing to No 16. Ground floor windows with square block rustications. A mixture of traditional classical C17 Yorkshire motifs with various 'Adam' touches. Flight of stone steps. Slate mansard roof to No 16; one flat and two gabled dormers. NMR.
Nos 1 to 25 (censec). Gardens Wall and Gatepiers form a group.
