II
House, c.1800 with probable earlier core. Painted brick. Hipped plaintiled
roof with axial chimney of red brick; flat roofed sash window dormers. 2
storeys and attics. 3 window range to main elevation (the left-hand bay
consists of blind windows) Original windows with flat arches of gauged brick,
flush frames and small-pane sashes. The return elevation to Coddenham Road
has a pair of C19 splayed flat-roofed bay windows. 6 panelled entrance door,
the reveals also panelled. Engaged Tuscan columns with mutule-enriched
cornice.
