Cottage. C17 with C19 extension and later alterations. Timber-framed with whitewashed brick infill. Old clay tile roof with gabled ends.Large stone rubble external stack to right end. PLAN:2-unit plan Righthand room heated from large gable-end stack. Lefthand room subdivided. Circa C19 single storey outbuilding added on right. EXTERIOR:2 storeys.2-window range.C20 wooden porch. Part-glazed door in moulded and ornamented timber surround. 3 small windows to ground floor. First floor has two 3-light wooden casements with iron opening lights and horizontal glazing bars. Attached to the right is a low single storey rubble range with a clay tile roof and brick axial stack and a plank door. Left return side has a plank door and attic casement. INTERIOR: Box-frame with square panels, tension-braces and queen-strut roof truss.Room to right has 2 chamfered ceiling beams; whitewashed timber-framed partition wall and moulded 6-panel door. Room to left subdivided by an old stud partition.
