Bank, now club and shops. c1895, with late C20 alterations. Red brick with ashlar dressings and slate mansard roofs with flat tops and cast-iron railings. 2 ridge and 2 side wall coped brick stacks. French Renaissance Revival style. Rusticated quoins, moulded eaves cornice. 3 storeys plus attics; 9 window range. Windows are mainly plain sashes. Projecting central block has 3 windows with crests, and above, 3 smaller windows. Above again, scrolled broken pediment with central dormer topped with segmental pediment and flanked by small round windows with enriched surrounds. Ground floor has a central panelled double door with fanlight, flanked by single large windows, all with moulded segmental heads. Beyond, on either side, narrow single entrance bays, with a crested window on the first floor, and above, a small oval dormer window with enriched surround. Below, a door with crest, and above it, an oval window with enriched surround. Lower side wings have 2 plain sashes on the upper floors, and above, a broken pediment similar to the central block with pedimented dormer and oval window. Ground floor has late C20 shopfront with fascia. INTERIOR not inspected.
