Commercial premises. Early C19 with rear wing from an earlier
building of C16. Stucco over brick with roof not visible
behind parapet. Rear wing is timber-framed with plain tiled
roof.
3 storeys, 5-window range, with a further 3 windows on Fish
Street elevation. Inserted shop front in traditional style,
with continuous fascia articulated by paired brackets. Upper
windows are 12-pane sashes, with blind window space over
doorway and tripartite sash across curved corner with Fish
Street. Plain cornice to parapet eaves, with 2 dormers in the
roof facing Fish Street.
Lower rear wing, with render over renewed ground floor with
central door and boarded openings to stores etc. Moulded
bressumer to jettied upper storey, framed in close studding
with middle rail. Two 3-light casement windows with small
panes. Square panelling in gable.
