GV II

House, now workrooms. Early C18, altered mid and late C19, restored late C20. Red brick, with painted ashlar dressings, concrete tile roof and 4 brick gable stacks. Rendered plinth. 3 storeys; 2 window range. Double range plan. 2 wooden cross casements with panelled wedge lintels and double keystones. Above, two 12-pane sashes. Below, 2 plain sashes with wedge lintels and keystones, and to left, a wooden doorcase with pediment, moulded 4-panel doors and fanlight. Right return has in the centre a 4-panel door with a single window on each floor above. To left, a round-arched window on each floor. To right, 2 plain sashes. Rear has a round-arched stair window flanked by plain sashes, and above, two C18 glazing bar casements. INTERIOR has an original wooden dogleg stair with turned balusters and ramped and scrolled handrail. Ground floor has 6-panel doors.
