Bank. c1900. Shopfront and interior 1988. Ashlar and red brick, with granite faced ground floor, ashlar dressings, and Westmorland slate hipped roof. 2 ashlar side wall stacks with cornices. Recessed centre, bracketed cornice and balustrade. 3 storeys plus attics; 5 windows, arranged 1:3:1. On the first floor, plain sashes, with central pediment flanked by cornices. Above, 16-pane sashes with bracketed sills. Above again, in the pediment, a Diocletian window with keystone, flanked by festoons. Ground floor arcade has 4 fluted Greek Doric granite columns under a fascia cornice.
