House, now offices, and attached railings. Mid C18, altered
mid C19, converted late C20. Painted stucco. Roof not visible
behind panelled coped parapet. Rusticated ground floor,
dentillated ground floor and eaves cornices. Symmetrical front
with projecting central bay. 4 storeys plus basement; 5 window
range. On the first floor, 12-pane sashes with cornices on
shaped brackets. Above, 9-pane sashes with eared architraves
and shaped lintels. Above again, 5 small casements with
moulded surrounds, the central window blank. Ground floor has
a central portico with Corinthian double columns and
balustrade, covering a panelled door with overlight. On each
side, 2 plain sashes. Basement has 4 round-arched windows with
voussoirs.
Outside, a wrought-iron area railing on a chamfered ashlar
plinth.
