Shops and offices. 1894. By John Howitt of Nottingham. Ashlar. Roof not visible. Symmetrical front rusticated first floor, string courses and sill bands, bays defined by pilasters, cornice, pierced balustrade. 4 storeys plus attics; 5 window range. Ground floor has 2 late C20 shopfronts, the right one with original stone pilasters. On the first and second floors, a shallow bow window, 3 sashes, with enriched lintel and balustrade. On either side, 2 windows on each floor. Above again, regular courses of windows with tripartite windows in the centre. Over the centre bay, a pedimented gable containing a datestone. Included for group value.
