Shop and dwelling. Late C16/early C17, with later alterations.
Timber-frame and plaster; plain tile gable roof; lateral stack
to right; rubble stack with brick chimney.
2 storeys and attic; single-window range: C18 canted bay with
4/4: 6/6: 4/4 sashes in moulded cases, under moulded eaves,
interrupting shallow moulded jetty to gable with C20 3-light
mullion window in earlier moulded case; spurred curved braces;
modillioned barge-boards with pendant to gable. Early C20 shop
front with central half-glazed door; canted windows with
chamfered glazing bars; plaster coving to moulded hood on
paired consoles. Rear: C18 brickwork on rubble plinth; C18
3-light mullion window with central casement in C17 moulded
case, under brick segmental arch. C20 plank door and fixed
light, under segmental arches.
