Large town house, now offices. c1830, converted C20. By John Clark. Red brick, stone details, slate roof. 3 storeys over basement, 6 first-floor windows. Corner site. Pilastered doorcase right of centre; tall windows with top-hung casements in style of sashes with glazing bars to ground and first floors, 9-pane windows to top storey. Deep band at ground-floor level, recessed panels below windows; first-floor band and stone sills; narrow sill band to top storey; shallow moulded pediment over all, gable copings. Left return: 3 windows to front block gable end right; door with overlight in surround with deep bracketed hood and 2 windows to left, parapet above. INTERIOR: not inspected.
