Dovecote, laundry and sheds. Late C18, restored C20. Tall brick building with stone slate roof, hipped. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central carriageway with segmental brick arch, flanking cart sheds. External stair left (N side) to upper floor. S side: 5 windows, 3 of them blocked, segmental brick arches. Brick string course at floor level. INTERIOR: upper floor lined with hundreds of nesting recesses, ledges restored with broken concrete slabs. Lower gabled roof to laundry building at E end with segmental-arched windows and doorway left; attached on N side and extending to barn (qv) is a 5-bay single-storey shelter shed with stone slate roof and segmental-arched openings. This range encloses the W side of the farm yard.
