GV II
House. Early C19. Timber-framed with ashlar rendered brick front and two parallel ranges of hipped slate roofs; concrete pantiles on inner slopes; rendered stacks through each flanking slope. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with cellar (now filled); 3-window range. 1st floor has recessed 12-pane sash windows under segmental arches. Ground floor has central doorcase with cornice/hood, panelled pilasters and rectangular fanlight; door of 2 vertically moulded panels with semicircular heads. Also a tripartite small-paned sash window and a 12-pane sash. The north-west elevation has one 12-pane, one 8-pane sash window and a small window over 2 slate-roofed lean-tos. The south-east elevation has a canted 1st floor oriel with dentilled cornice, small-paned sashes and 'wine glass' profile soffit. Ground floor has two 12-pane sash windows with moulded surrounds. The rear, garden, elevation is of white weatherboarding with one 12-pane sash at 1st floor, over 2 similar windows and hipped-roofed lattice-work open porch; door with fanlight over and square window under porch. INTERIOR: 2 marble fireplaces.
