Shop. C16 or earlier. Timber-framed and rendered with gabled roof of asbestos slates. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; one-window range; with extension at rear with lean-to roof against No.133 (not included). Front has pebbledashed 1st floor and sash window with moulded surround and central vertical glazing bar. Ground floor has C19 shop front of 2 large panes with canted-out fascia. Exposed north-west flank has C20 pargeting and barge-boards. Fragment of late medieval building with central jowled post in rear wall carrying flat tie beam dovetailed over front plate. INTERIOR: the building originally had a long arch brace from rear post, and chamfering stops well short of front wall suggesting a roof overhang of 'Wealden' type. Floor structure (inserted?) has spine beam with double-ogee chamfers and hollow-chamfered bridging joists of early-mid C16.
