Pair of houses, now shop and flats. c1835 with early C20 alterations. Brick with slate roof. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and 4 bays. The windows to the upper storeys are glazing bar sashes with brick flat arches and projecting stone sills. The ground floor has a shopfront which projects forwards under a flat roof and continues around the corner to occupy one bay of the right-hand return wall. Above the shopfront 2 brick arches to former window openings are visible in the front wall. Chimney at right of ridge. The right-hand return wall is of 3 bays. The left-hand bay has blind window recesses to the upper storeys and the right-hand bay has a similar recess to the ground and 2nd floors. The central bay has a tall round-headed stair window rising through the 1st and 2nd floors. INTERIOR: not inspected.
